Our approach
Well Water Guide aims to make its educational articles and tools usable by a broad range of visitors and devices. The site uses semantic HTML, visible focus states, a skip link, responsive layouts, text labels, and relative sizing where practical.
Keyboard and screen-reader use
Navigation links and form controls are intended to be reachable by keyboard. Headings are used to organize article structure, and decorative images are generally given empty alternative text so they do not create unnecessary screen-reader noise.
Zoom, reflow, and mobile layouts
Pages are designed to reflow on smaller screens and to tolerate browser zoom without requiring a fixed desktop viewport. Some wide tables may use horizontal scrolling so their content remains available rather than being cut off.
Interactive tools and printing
The site's browser-based tools use standard form controls and generate text-based results. Printable pages and tool results may differ visually when printed or saved to PDF.
Known limitations
External websites linked from articles are outside Well Water Guide's control and may have different accessibility practices. Advertising and consent interfaces supplied by third parties can also behave differently from the site's own content.
